It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our beloved Lia Graham, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Shortly before 10:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Lia passed away suddenly in Peace Arch Hospital.
The shock of her passing has left a giant hole in our family that can never be filled. Yet it is not without hope as we know now she has seen the fulfilment of her favourite hymn "It is Well with My Soul".
Lia leaves behind her loving husband Bill Graham after 51 years of marriage; sons: Sean (Julie) and Ryan (Christana); five amazing grandchildren: Claire, Cailey, Thomas, Zach and Abby.
Predeceased by her parents Marten and Anne Meinster; Lia also leaves behind three sisters, Linda, Jane and Marianne.
Lia immigrated to Canada from Holland with her family July 27, 1954. Their family settled in Trenton, Ontario where Lia grew up. After highschool Lia moved to Toronto where she met Bill, there the two fell in love. During the 51 years of marriage Bill and Lia lived in Ontario, California, Washington, Arizona and British Columbia.
Lia was a woman of deep faith that loved Jesus and the local church and loved to serve the broader communities in which she lived. Lia will be in our hearts always.
