On January 3rd, Margaret Pullar Rodgers “Peggy” joined The Choir of the Lord, and also joined in Heaven her husband Archie, parents, brother and sister. Born in Dundee, Scotland, she spent most of her life in Montreal, and Vancouver. She lived a wonderful, happy and blessed life of giving and helping people, and always with a smile. She served as a volunteer in the Canadian Red Cross for 53 years. Peggy is survived by her son Peter, daughter-in-law Cristina, sister-in-law Violet Halkett, niece Diane Halkett, and nephew David Halkett, and family. A special thanks to the Staff of the Royal Ascot Care Centre for giving her wonderful care and comfort while a resident. A private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Red Cross International Relief, at 3400 Lake City Way, Burnaby, BC, V5A 4Y2 will be greatly appreciated by us and those in need around the world.
