Que de bons moments j'ai partagés avec France. Nous avions toujours grand plaisir à nous revoir. Je garde d'elle le souvenir d'une femme aimante, forte et courageuse, une femme qui aimait rire et qui aimait la vie.
Mon coeur et mes penseés sont avec la famille.

Je tiens à te rendre témoignage, chère tante France, pour l'être que tu étais et pour le grand coeur qui t'habitait. Tu as toujours su ouvrir ton coeur et ta maison pour les gens autour de toi. Tu as toujours su te donner pour les membres de ta famille, incluant aussi tous tes neveux et nièces. Je sais que tous ceux qui ont été reçus dans ta maison ne pourront que témoigner de l'amour et des moyens mis en place pour bien nous recevoir et nous faire sentir chez nous et aimés.

Nana, 

I miss you so much. I cannot put into words how much you will be missed. I have twenty-one amazing memories with the best Grandma in the world that will last a lifetime. I can't wait to graduate from U of A in May and start a new chapter of my life in which I know you will be guiding me and watching me from above. Thank you for shaping me into the grown man I am today even though I am still that young kid at heart. I will always remember "to be good" and can still hear you saying that to me. My god where do I begin, I have years of memories. 
As you know I'm a man of few words, although some might disagree.
But the words that best describe you are, 
Classy, Proud, Colorful, Full of Life, Determined, Big Hearted.
You were always there no matter what. 

From the times on your boat in Nanaimo harbour.
To the crazy way you liked to celebrate Christmas.   
From the colorful & crazy family dinners.
To the way you butchered the English language, wharf has a whole new meaning. 
All memories I will cherish and never forget.   

You're a special lady, so never change. 
The love you have for your children and grand children.
It was obvious that family was everything to you.
I only hope we can carry that on in your absence.

You seem so far away and, I am trying very hard to see you up in the great big sky or that beautiful white shore across the sea (I say this because you so loved the ocean).

I am trying hard to remember the glow upon your face when you would laugh and the feel of your touch and embrace.

When the heartache seems too hard to bear, I am trying hard to remember how you always stood by my side, and would tenderly wipe away the tears I cried.

I know there will be moments of great joy to come because you would want nothing less from me and, I know you will be standing at my side.
