With profound sadness, we share the news of Mary Anette Dadswell's of Surrey, BC, sudden passing at home on February 02, 2021, at 48 years. Mary leaves behind her dear friend and companion, Owen Gooler. Mary is the beloved mother to her cherished daughter Heather. Her son Alexander (Cassondra
Harrison), their beautiful boys, Mary's precious grandchildren Aiden and Jaxxon.
Mary was born April 21, 1972, in Petrolia, Ontario, to Richard and Linda Dadswell. Mary moved to Calgary, Alberta as a child and attended Killarney elementary, AE Cross Junior High, and Ernest Manning High school. Mary moved to Surrey, BC, in 1994, where she attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University and embarked on her chosen career as a Health Care Assistant.
Always a loving, caring, and generous person, Mary brought abundant joy and kindness into every life she touched.
Mary is predeceased by her loving stepfather Stuart Seneca, June 18, 1993; and loving stepmother Diane Dadswell, February 18, 2006; and nephew Paul Constantineau June 26, 2015. Mary is survived by her mother Linda Dadswell of Williams Lake, BC, her father Richard Dadswell of Ancaster, Ontario, her sisters Shelley Morin (nee Cooper) Mark, and their daughters Vanessa (Felix Trempe) and Miranda. Beverley Cooper and her daughters Kara-Lynn Cooper (Cody Sloan) and their sons Parker and Hayden and Hailey Hall and her wife, Zandrea. Stepsisters Melanie Lambert (Darnell) and their sons Tyler, Carter, and Taylor and Melanie's daughter Rachelle LeMaitre. Roxanne Constantineau and her son Ricky and daughter Cieyna. Her brother Scott and stepbrother Robert Barry. Mary's spiritually adopted family Melissa & Chris Hoeppner, and their children Elianna and Erin, also Mary's grandchildren. Mary leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and extended family. Mary's capacity and willingness to
love, forgive and love again means she will be dearly missed by many.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Mary's service will be private with her children and immediate family present. Once restrictions have been lifted in the summer, a celebration of life for Mary will be organized. If you feel called to honor Mary's memory in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local Children's Hospital in her name. Mary always advocated for those with no voice, especially children.
Mary's children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, the neighbor's children, all children are the sparkles we remember in Mary's eyes.
