Mary Bell Stewart McCaig McDonald

Mary was born in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada on July 29, 1929 to her parents, the late Janet "Jenny" and Duncan McSporran. Mary went to school and lived in Moosejaw; where she married her first husband, Robert McMaster and had two daughters. After their divorce in 1957; Mary moved her daughters, Roberta and Linda "Lynn" to Victoria, BC.

Mary married her second love; the late Warren B. McDonald on August 28, 1969. They resided in Victoria, BC, the Queen Charlottes and then settled in Nelson, BC. Upon Warren’s passing Mary moved to Surrey, BC to be close to family; where she lived her remaining years.

Mary enjoyed her time with friends, relatives and her Community Church. She loved to travel to see relatives in Scotland; or dear friends in Canada and the USA. Her fondest travel memories were when she travelled with her daughter, Linda "Lynn" and Linda’s husband Doug and their daughter, Maureen.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Roberta Hovell (John) of Surrey, BC; her sister, Georgie March of Victoria, BC.

Mary was predeceased by her daughter, Linda "Lynn" Andrews of Surrey, BC; and her brother, Ian McSporran of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Mary is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary will be dearly missed by family and friends.

The funeral service will take place:

at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017
