It was with great sadness that I learnt of Mete's death. I have very happy memories of my aunt. I used to love visiting her and my Uncle Alan in Blyth. We had many happy Christmas's at my Grandads and I still have the sewing box Aunty Mady gave me when I was about 11years old. They were a great miss when they went to live in Canada. Since then I have had some lovely happy times with my husband in Canada staying in Nanaimo with Aunty Mady and Aunty Gerdi -who also sadly died this year-and then in Vancouver when she went to live with Kim and Tony. 
Mady will be remembered by us with great affection.

Meta died peacefully in Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey BC on August 24th 2015 at approximately 4:37pm at the age of 93.
Born on march 19th 1922 in Trittau, Germany.

She is preceded in death by her siblings Marianna, Cali and most recently Gertrude.
Meta is survived by her son Michael Noble, (daughter-in-law Patchara Sangsutti), daughter Kim Sommers (son-in-law Tony Sommers and grandchildren Olivia Sommers, Landon Sommers and Ashley Trimble.
She is also survived by her nephew Mark Docherty, his wife Molly and children Dara and Rob.
Meta will be missed by many family members around the world. The closest being her niece Jane in England and nephew Peter in Germany.
The family would like to thank the care home staff of Laurel Place and the nurses and doctors of Surrey Memorial Hospital.
