Michael Francis White

Michael Francis White passed away on Apr.5, 2022 at the age of 68 succumbing to lung cancer and other maladies. Mike, Mikey, Pops or Uncle Wha... managed his illness with strength and grace, just as he dealt with all challenges in life. Always looking to get a laugh or a smile he committed as much of his remaining time to his beloved family and friends. He spent his final day surrounded by love, drawing his final breath alongside his daughter Arlene.

Mike left this world peacefully, making his way to be with his daughter Sadie White, his sisters Gertrude Whalen & Marie Bradbury, his brother Peter White, and his parents Cecily and William White. Leaving behind his daughter Arlene Price ( Shane Price), grandson Michael Folland, granddaughters Karen White and Chelsea Franchino and his brother Edward White. Many dear to him remain to mourn his passing, George( Denise), Jason ( Steph), Barbara Whalen ( Ritchie), Barbara-Mae and Paul White, his dear friends that provided him aid when he needed it most Debbie & Bill, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He is now up there drinking beers and fishing his days away.

HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST

God saw he was getting tired,

And a cure was not to be,

So he put his arms around him,

And whispered "Come with me",

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,

And saw him fade away,

Although we love him dearly,

We could not make him stay,

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard-working hands to rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best,

Although his heart stopped beating,

His love will always remain,

His absence puts upon our hearts,

A very heavy strain,

For now, he is in a place of everlasting rest,

We just have to understand that God,

He only takes the best.
