Mukesh Prem KANOTRA

MUKESH PREM KANOTRA MUKESH PREM KANOTRA CFO, FCA(I), CPA(K), BSC. Son of Prem Prakash and Chand Rani Kanotra, Brother of Rakesh, Suresh & Neera Husband of Neeru, Father of Kritika and Janvi, Nanu of Mila and Shay Mukesh Prem Kanotra, a loving son, brother, husband, father, friend; but above all, a phenomenal human being. Mukesh was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu as he was the child of an air force officer who was stationed there at the time. Mukesh was always a brilliant student who consistently topped in academics. He completed his Bachelor's of Science but switched over to obtain his Chartered Accountant designation at a time when the passing rate was 0.01%. He moved to Nairobi, Kenya in 1986 for an opportunity to advance his career in the accounting field. He led a successful career in Kenya starting from a Managing Accountant for the Sarova Stanley group, to becoming a Director of Operations at Hyundai in Rwanda when he had to escape the genocide with his family. He then proceeded to take on a Director role at a multinational company, MRM Kenya where he lead one specific company, Tristar. Most recently, he has been an integral part of Fruiticana as their CFO. Mukesh and his family immigrated to Canada in 2001 and he left all his luxuries to provide his family a better lifestyle. His family will forever be grateful to his sacrifices. He always led a selfless life, whether it was at work or home; he lived to provide for those he cared for. Mukesh was fortunate to marry the love of his life, Neeru Kanotra in 1987. They are known to have a love like no other. They welcomed their daughter Kritika in 1989 and their second daughter Janvi in 1991. Mukesh was ecstatic as he wanted two daughters and till this day was very proud of his two daughters, calling them his "million dollars." His presence will be deeply missed as he has made a tremendous impact on all of our lives. We thank you for your support through this painful time.
