Pajo Pajic

Pajo Pajic was born in Srnice, Bosnia, (Yugoslavia) on June 8, 1950. Pajo departed this world on January 4, 2021.

Pajo was preceded in death by his parents Miodrag and Pela (Nikic) Pajic. He is succeeded by his wife of 50 years, Jelka (Mitrovic) Pajic, children: Nevena (Dragan) Corda and V. Rev. Fr. Milan (Jelena) Pajic; grandchildren: Luka, Andjelina, Julija, Stefan, and Filip. In addition, Pajo is survived by his brother Jovan and sister Nevena, and the vast Pajic family with many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pajo had many family and friends that will greatly miss him in the greater Vancouver area, in his homeland, and in many cities around the world. From the time he and his family immigrated to Vancouver in 1993, with help of his uncle/stric Branko and aunt/strina Djurdja Pajic. Pajo was a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Vancouver where he served as board president and a member for many years. During his time in Vancouver, he made many lifelong friends who will miss him greatly. He truly enjoyed making smoked meat and sausage, he also loved to watch pro sports and particularly followed Serbian teams. Above all, Pajo loved his family, especially his grandchildren, spending time together during the holidays, Slavas, birthdays, and ordinary days. He was simply just Deko Pajo to all his grandchildren. His departure has shocked all his family and friends and will leave a large void in the lives of those who loved him. We pray that God will remember him always in His Kingdom. Memory Eternal! Vecenaja Pamjat!
