We lived beside Peter and Judy for many years and have many great memories.  Our kids attended each others birthday parties, Judy came with Peter's lovely  Mum for tea and for years Peter waged an ongoing battle with moss in the grass. A lovely family and a lovely man.  You all deserved many more happy healthy years together.  Ross and Anne

Our most sincere condolences to you Judy and your family at this, one of your most difficult times of your young lives.  I remember very fondly of Peter coming to our Watch from training and of course meeting you as you worked the front counter at Richmond Detachment.  Both of you conducted your duties regularly with integrity and professionalism.  Peter had the perfect personality for a general duty member, as he never appeared to get flustered, and handled all matters seriously when required and used levity when needed.  He was the consummate team player, willing to lead or assist whenever called upon.  Thank you both for your years of dedicated service.
Gloria and I were not able to attend Peter's memorial service, as were out of the city.  Our daughter and son-in-law advised us that there was a large attendance to justifiably pay tribute to a great gentleman.  Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest condolences to Peter's wife and family.  
When I first met Peter at the RCMP Mess about 15 years ago, I told him that he reminded me of the late actor Gary Cooper.  I further explained that he had the same tall, lanky silhouette, soft, smokey voice, twinkly blue eyes and killer smile.  He will be remembered as a man with integrity, quick wit, generous nature and kind heart.  I'm sure I can also speak for my husband in saying that it was an honour to have known Peter and we will miss him in our lives.

Condolences to Peter's family and friends. After becoming acquainted with Peter through the E Div Mess, I came to know and appreciate his kind, calm demeanour and especially his dry but near constant sense of humour. I'm sure everyone who knew him will recall those mischievous looking eyes giving away that ever so slight grin as his most witty comments sunk in. Peter was a dedicated member and I'm certain he leaves his many friends and colleagues feeling the great loss of a truly fine man. Thoughts and prayers Peter. You made a positive difference in this world and you will remain in our fondest memories.

So saddened to hear of Peter's passing.  I worked with him in Informatics for many years and considered him my PIRS mentor.  We had good times and lots of laughs.

I first met Peter when he arrived at Richmond Detachment fresh out of RCMP training. Cst Don Froh was his trainer I believe. I worked on D Watch with Peter and we had a great time. I found him to be a very smart, dedicated and loyal member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. When I was later posted to PIRS Field Operations we were in need of a couple of members to help us implement this system in BC. I was asked if I had anyone in mind and I immediately thought of Peter. Although he knew very little of the system he caught on fast and was very keen. I could give him a task and feel confident it would be completed right and without fail. We had many memorable road trips together throughout the years. Played hard and worked hard. He was just a fine man, a tad stubborn at times but always strived to do things the right way. We were friends a long time and I will  miss him dearly.

Pete was a troop mate of mine in Regina....part of troop 11/76. When we marched as a troop he and I were always paired together as we were the tallest of the bunch and always tail end charlie. I got to see him later when I was stationed in Port Alberni and he was working Information Services out of E Division. A good pal and well thought of by all of us. Sorry to hear of his passing so young....Al Malcomson RCMP retired #33667 I have pictures of us together at our grad as we were a matched pair marching.
