Reta was born on October 6th,1938 in Biggar, Saskatchewan, and passed away peacefully in the presence of her family in White Rock, BC. She was the fifth child of George and Jenny Wilson's six children and only daughter. She leaves behind her brothers Bert and Bruce and was predeceased by brothers, Don, Jack and Earl.
She is survived by her Christmas Eve blind date, Ernie. Mom used to say, "they said it would never last" but last it did as the two were inseparable for 66 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish her memory are daughters Kathryn (Mike), Karen (Terry), sons Terry, David (Jessica), nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mom worked at Woodward's for 28 years and after retirement, she and Ernie enjoyed gardening and travelling the world taking amazing photographs along the way.
