OBITUARY

Robert Greaves Cooper

July 6, 1934 – December 14, 2025
Obituary of Robert Greaves Cooper
IN THE CARE OF

Victory Memorial Park & Funeral Centre

Robert Cooper passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, aged 91 in White Rock, BC with his loving family by his side.

Robert was predeceased in 2022 by the love of his life, Beverley. He is survived by his daughters Lori and Lynda (Craig), grandchildren Spence (Gen), Kirk (Natalie), Ashley (Brandon), Brad (Britteny) and his many great grandchildren.

Robert was born in Vancouver to John and Elsie Cooper. He lived for many years with his mom, dad, and sister Corrine in Vancouver before relocating to Richmond in his teen years. In 1954, Robert joined Dairyland Foods, first with home delivery, then wholesale delivery and moving to sales in the mid-60’s and then to major accounts in the mid-70’s . He and Bev made many lifelong friends through his 41 years in the dairy and food industry.

Bob and Bev were married in 1956 and built their first home in Richmond in 1957 where they raised their two daughters. After living in Richmond for 31 years, they moved to North Surrey for 30 years and spent the last eight years in South Surrey/White Rock.

Bob and Bev travelled all over the world, especially once he retired. They loved travelling in their fifth wheel, took many cruises and were yearly snowbirds until their early eighties. Bob loved working with his hands; building, wood finishing, and always doing odd-jobs around the house. He had a passion for golfing and enjoyed his three times a week golf games with his buddies.

Bob left a wonderful legacy of love and support for his family and friends. The memories we all share of him are a blessing to us.

Lynda, Craig and family wish to thank to wonderful staff at Evergreen Baptist Long Term Care for their compassion and caring for both Dad and Mom over the past few years. We have gotten to know them all so well and have been very thankful for them.

There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
