Fairfoull, Robert David often referred to as “Robbie” passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 31 July 2019 at the age of 89 years young (as he would like to say) at Rosemary Heights Senior Village, Surrey, BC. Robert is predeceased by his wife, Dolores Yolanda Fairfoull( nee: Serani) and survived by Delores Duly (husband Greg Duly), his grandchildren: Ryan Taggart Duly (wife Echo Duly), and Evan Fairfoull Duly, and great grandchildren: Alanna Ravan Duly, Aaron Adam Duly and Abigail Yolanda Duly. His siblings Isabel George, Norman Fairfoull (wife Rose Fairfoull) and Gordon Fairfoull (wife Carol Fairfoull) live in Penticton, New Westminster and Surrey, respectively.
Robbie moved with his family from Vancouver to White Rock in 1957 where he worked for the City of White Rock until he retired. His greatest love in terms of a hobby was playing his bagpipes. Births(at the hospital when his second grandson was born) deaths (at his mother’s burial) and weddings (many many weddings including his own grandson and niece’s reception) In addition he played for dignitaries high and low and of course the greatest honour was for the Queen during her 1983 visit. He was also an amateur painter and painted many scenes in and around the City of White Rock.
