Roberta Claire Braddock

Roberta Claire Braddock (née Hardy) passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Hazel and Harry, her only sibling, Christine and her grandson, Christopher Taylor. She is survived by a close-knit family: five daughters, two step-daughters, a step-son, a niece, two nephews, seventeen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Roberta’s life revolved around family gatherings, cherished vacations with her grandchildren, tending her beloved gardens, and her deep involvement in the Crescent Beach community. Roberta was a dedicated teacher who found lessons in every corner of the world around her. Whether she was observing rocks, sea life, songbirds or riptides, she believed no moment should pass without offering the gift of understanding. A devoted member of St. Mark’s Anglican Parish, she shared many years of love and partnership with her husband, John Anthony Braddock, who preceded her in death a year earlier.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Roberta’s name to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. They extend heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers who provided comfort and support during her final years.
