We regret to announce the passing of our dear father Ron on March 5, 2013 at Langley Memorial Hospital. He adored his wife Liz who passed away in 1979. He is lovingly remembered by his children Jamie and Joan; sister Peg Munro; niece Pat Sylvester and nephew Richard Munro; many great nieces and nephews; and friends in BC and Winnipeg, MB. He was born in Portage la Prairie, MB, and was a RCAF veteran, later becoming an Air Canada Pilot. His passions included golf, curling, badminton and enjoying time at the lake in Ontario. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre in Surrey, BC. Ron will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Liz, on Friday, March 15, 2013 following a service at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 830 North Drive, Winnipeg, MB at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation, BC SPCA or Canadian Wildlife Federation would be greatly appreciated.
