I don't have many memories with Rosanna. But the ones I do have are enough to remind me of what an amazing person she was. Her spirit was so bright and her smile so warm. Spending time with her was fun! Out of all my memories, I think what I will remember most is how much she loved her family. After meeting her daughters, I know that love will continue and only grow. Some say that when Paul McCartney was a young teenager, he had a dream in which his mother, Mary, came to him, speaking to him those words a couple of months after her passing. I'd like to think that I, as well, if I'm still enough, quiet enough, or observant enough, might be able to see, hear and feel Rose's presence. Maybe Rose's words will come to me, as it did for Paul in his hour of darkness.

But then it came to me that I don't have to be still enough, quiet enough, or observant enough to see, hear and feel Rose's presence. She is standing right in front of us all. She is in our midst. Right here, right now, at this very moment. She is all present in her children, her husband, her family, and even in the mundane tasks of daily life. 

Every time I see Jayla and Janell, Rose is there. Every time I see you, Evan, Rose is there. Every time I see her large, extended family and friends, Rose is there. Every time I see a pot of steamed rice on your kitchen counter, Rose is there. Every time I see a sticky note posted on the calendar or fridge, Rose is there.

If anything at all brings me any comfort, especially at this darkest hour, it is knowing that Rose is indeed amongst us all- everywhere. Right now. Right here. Right at this very moment. Forever and ever Rose will remain in the depths of my very soul.

Rest in peace my love. Not a day or minute goes by where you are not on my mind. Your morals and life values will always be the highest example, for how I should live my life.  By always staying positive no matter the situation, treat others fair, how i want to be treated, and by doing what i know in my heart is the right thing to do, even if it goes against the majority of everyoe else.  You had the unique ability to look at any situation from multiple points of view, as a result of that, anyone around you instantly felt comfortable. I can remember when you moved down to Everett so we could live together after dating for almost one year. I was so excited and nervous because for one, I was head-over-heals in love, and two, I couldn't believe a women as beautiful, as sweet, as smart, as kind, as caring as you, would ever "go", for a guy like me. I put on a front most of the time because I worried that I'd scare you away if you truley knew how much I loved you. I never had any women before in my life take care of me the way you did.  I felt so spoiled being your hubby and couldn't believe how perfect you were to me.  I am so thankful to God that he let me be your husband for the last 6 years of your life. I wish we could have grown old together but nobody knows what tomorrow brings. I just feel blessed for getting to spend the time we did have together, something I wouldn't change for anything in the world.  And i think Jayla & Janelle are the best gifts in the entire world that you could of left me before you went to heaven. So thank you Rosanna for the girls and for picking me to be the luckiest guy in the entire world. Because i got to have you.
