Ruby was born and grew up in Winnipeg. She started her career at Great West Life Assurance Company where she met her husband Marshall, who was the love of her life. They were married for 52 happy years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mom was also a wonderful cook, entertainer and decorator who created a beautiful home for her family. Ruby was an avid curler, badminton and tennis player at the Winnipeg Winter Club and spent many years golfing at St. Charles Country Club.
