She was a nurse for over 40 years and immigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1955, where she met her future husband, Joseph Greer Peden (predeceased). They were married in 1957 and had four children and have one grandchild.
Her favorite pastimes included gardening, indulging in retail therapy, watching tennis, frog collectibles, and writing to her beloved sister Sylvia. As a very avid reader of fiction and newspapers (and any other reading materials she could indulge in), she continually kept herself abreast of current affairs, and always with a cup of tea on hand, but what she cherished and loved most was her family and spending time with them.
She will be deeply missed by daughter Lorna (and son-in-law Paul), daughter Zena (and grandson Tyler), son Shane, and son Thomas (and partner Vicky).
