Especially all of the children that took bus #14.They all loved you. Those days that you weren't at work, all of the kids would ask, "where's AL"??..They really enjoyed having you as their School Bus Driver. My deepest sympathy go out to you and your family.

Al was a bright spot in so many children's day. He was my son's bus driver for many years, greeting him with a smile and making me, as a single mom, feel safe sending my child to school every day. He was truly a gem. May God bless your family as Al smiles down from heaven.

Sending our heartfelt condolences to the family of Alan Chapman. We met him years ago when he became our son's bus driver. Even though our son hasn't been on his bus for a couple of years now, we still talked him every morning as we took our daily walks. We will miss him dearly.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of dear Al. We were shocked and saddened to hear of Al's sudden passing. We were blessed to have him as our children's bus driver for the past 10 years and we all became quite close to him. We never worried about their safety because they were in such good hands! He went out of his way many times through the years - from waiting for the kids when they were late to driving back after his shift to return a forgotten trumpet! He always greeted the kids with a warm smile and always a friendly wave or conversation with us parents. He will be greatly missed. Love, Barbara, Mike, Kayla, Kristen, Greg, and Garrett Kemper

Dear Lil,
You and Chap were more like an Aunt and Uncle to Mark and I than our parents friends and I am so glad we got to share a great time together at my parents 25th Wedding Anniversary.
I will always remember the good times our families had through the years and Chaps Comic Smile.
He was such a Character!! Truly missed he will be but never forgotten!!!
RIP (I wish this was return if possible)

For 3and a half years Al drove my bus.He was the best bus driver because he let us listen to music, whenever I got on the bus he would say "hi Lauren" and when I got off he told me "so long Lauren". I am so very sad and upset that this happened. Al told me that I was the only one that could help kids get off the back of the bus for evacuation drills. My name is Lauren and I'm 8years old.
