Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Telesphore and Denise (Lizotte) Belanger, she resided in Fall River during her youth, attended BMC Durfee High School, moving to Swansea in 1952.
A Seamstress, she worked for the former Tick Tock Frocks and Newport Finishing Company, and was a member of the ILGWU. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, family gatherings and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving: two daughters: Carol Schulz and her husband Bradley of Wyoming, MI, Nancy Dutra and husband David of Warren, RI, three grandaughters: Karen Hadzic, Jennifer Dismuke and Elysia Ann Warner, four great grandchildren, one brother: Leo Belanger of Warren and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Jeannette and Normand Belanger and Yvonne Dion.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 9AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea with a funeral mass at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
