

Born in Hazelton, PA a son of the late Andrew F. and Frances (Vrba) Rusnock, he spent his youth in Hazelton, moved to Fall River in 1952 and has been a resident of Swansea since 1957.
A graduate of Hazelton High School, class of 1947, he was a Veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Rusnock was a Tool and Die Maker and Foreman at Hasbro in both the Fall River and Pawtucket Plants for over 20 years before retiring in 1992. Andy was a man of character, who cherished his family above all other worldly pursuits. He loved and appreciated our natural world and spent much time outdoors enjoying nature, gardening and wildlife.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Andrew S. Rusnock Jr. and his wife Teresa, Michael Rusnock and his wife Robin, one daughter Nancy Rusnock Juvinall and her husband Gary, two brothers Edward Rusnock and Robert Rusnock and his wife Georgia May, one sister Margaret Chismar, and sister-in-law Anna Rusnock, wife of his late brother Joseph Rusnock all of Hazelton, PA, three grandchildren Jocelyn and Lauren Rusnock and Rachael Juvinall and one great granddaughter Aaliyah Carvalho and many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:00AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church 530 Gardners Neck Rd. Swansea. Visiting hours Monday from 5:00 to 7:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST 189 Gardners Neck Rd. Swansea.
