Anita I. Baer

Anita Irene Baer, a devoted, kind-hearted, and selfless individual, passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on October 28, 1940, in Leominster, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Fred and Annetta Jarvis. A graduate of Clinton High School, Anita led a life full of love and dedication.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. Baer. She was a loving mother to Sharon M. Cabral and her husband Michael, Kim M. Sumner and her husband Michael, Brian C. Baer and his wife Carollann. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Adam Cabral and his wife Amanda, Stacey Lombardo and her husband Drew, Tyler Sumner, and Cayden Sumner, as well as her great-grandchildren, Aaron and Austin Cabral, and Thomas and Patrick Lombardo. Anita was also blessed with a lifelong friendship with Norma Mello, who was her best friend.

Anita resided in Somerset, Massachusetts, and was known for her deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid fan of the Red Sox and enjoyed playing cards, traveling, reading, solving puzzles, listening to country music, playing Bingo, and relaxing on her deck.

Anita will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, MA 02777, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 9:15 am. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery on Woodlawn St, Clinton, MA 01510.
