Ann Marie Venturini Prendergast

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Regoli) Venturini, she was a longtime resident of Swansea before moving to Clifton in Somerset.

Mrs. Prendergast was a graduate of Dominicon Academy where she excelled in basketball.

She had worked as an office manager for Tioga Sportswear for 16 years until her retirement.

Ann Marie enjoyed the comforts of her home especially her beautiful yard. She loved cooking, entertaining and planning family functions. Most of all, she loved caring and spending time with her loving children and grandchildren.

Her family includes two sons, Michael F. Prendergast and his wife Karen and James S. Prendergast and his wife Karen all of Swansea; a brother, Frank Venturini and his wife Peggy of Swansea; three sisters, Ruth Malgieri and her husband Al of Little Compton and Florida, June Roy of Somerset and Judith Mackie and her husband James Harvey of Swansea; four grandchildren, Michael Prendergast, Kayla Prendergast, Natalie Barkey and Andrew Prendergast; and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive guests on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 8:30-9:30 am in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Burial will be private.
