Our deepest sympathy to the Attar Family, Mrs. Dufour and Roger in Anne’s passing.
It is said that when one marries their spouse, you marry the family. Through the marriage of Peter and Lianne, we’ve been blessed to be extended family and many of our memories of Anne center around being parents and grandparents. One of the fondest is when Marcela was baptized when she was two years old and Peter, Lianne, Henry, Anne, Fred and Lina were sitting in the living room with Marcela standing in the center. With her hand out Marcela, standing in place and turning as she made a circle, pointing to each of us, she said, “This is my family!”

Henry and Anne are Marcela’s godparents and when we think of Anne, we think of her as one who cared deeply about her family. Physical distance was not a barrier as we would witness when visiting in Oklahoma - the weekly Skypes, ready-made meals to heat when Marcela, Robert and Sammy were born, subscriptions to age appropriate books and magazines and activities and of course shopping for the family. Many wonderful and lasting memories.

She was an inspiration to the end, accepting her circumstance with grace and faith. We love you Anne. Thank you for your love, care and thoughtfulness. Your spirit remains in our hearts and in our prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers to the Attar Family, Mrs. Dufour and Roger.

Eternal rest grant unto Anne, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Love and Blessings,
Fred and Lina Carahasen
