Anne-Marie L. Theroux

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. Theroux, Jr. and Leonette T. (Montour) Theroux. A lifelong resident of Swansea, Anne-Marie was a proud graduate of Joseph Case High School, Class of 1971. She later attended Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School’s nursing program, where she earned her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Anne-Marie dedicated many years of her career to caring for others at Country Gardens Nursing Home, retiring in 2005. Known for her kind and gentle spirit, she found great joy in spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved nephews and nieces.

She is survived by her sister, Louise Faria of Swansea; her brothers, William A. Theroux and his wife Kathryn of Pennsylvania, and Leo J. Theroux of Swansea; along with her cherished nieces, nephews, a great-nieces, and a great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Normand P. Theroux.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service. Burial will be in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Swansea.
