Annie B. Dube

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Ward) Aitken, she had been a resident of Swansea since 1962.

She worked as a sewing machine operator at the Curtain Mill in Fall River and as a receptionist and telephone operator at the former Truesdale Hospital. Mrs. Dube enjoyed cooking, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter: JoAnn Desmarais and her husband Roger P. of Swansea, son-in-law: Michael Hadala of Somerset, sister: Carole Lopes and her husband Bradford of Westport, sister-in-law: Florence Williams and her husband Robert of Fall River, four grandchildren: Wendy L. Braga and her husband Kevin, Michael A. Hadala and his wife Caitlin, Laura Gustafson and her husband Brian, Jessica Bartlett and her husband Justin, three great-grandchildren: Olivia Anne Gustafson, Aubree Hadala, Emma Grace Bartlett, and many nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Sharon A. Hadala.

Her Funeral will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 9:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00PM. Burial private.
