Barbara A. Klang

Barbara A. (Choiniere) Klang, age 80, of Swansea, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was the beloved wife of John H. Klang, Jr. to whom she had been married 50 years.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Stacia (Gula) Choiniere.

Barbara worked in childcare for 20 years and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the South Attleboro Lions Club and an avid Red Sox fan. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Barbara is survived by seven children, David Lotti and his wife Sharyn of North Dartmouth, Deborah Buchanan of Pawtucket, Lisa Diaz and her husband Jaime of Las Vegas, NV, Dana Oosterman and her husband Paul, Lora McCullough and her husband Tom, all of New Ipswich, NH, Robert Klang and his wife LuAnn of Elko, NV, and John Klang and his wife Anne Marie of Swansea; one sister, Donna Marques and her husband Joe of Pawtucket; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Barbara was the sister of the late Karen Choiniere.

Her Funeral Services will be private and are in the care of Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, Swansea.
