Barbara A. "Barb" Wolstenholme

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Henry and Beatrice (Roy) Courville, she lived in Somerset 47 years. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1955.

Mrs. Wolstenholme worked for the Fall River Nursing Home for 18 years and was a member of the Church of Our Saviour and a former member of its Ladies Guild and choir. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles and crossword puzzles.

Surviving in addition to her husband: 3 daughters: Cheryl A. Fickert and her husband Robert of Lakeville, Donna L. Ferreira of Somerset and her former husband John, Lynn A. McMahon of Somerset and her former husband James, 1 son: Robert M. Wolstenholme of Somerset and his former wife Michelle, 2 brothers: Joey Courville of Michigan and Kenny Courville of California, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late William Courville.

Her Requiem Eucharist will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 10 AM in the Church of Our Saviour, 2112 County St., Somerset. Visiting hours Monday 3-6 PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to Southcoast Hospice, 200 Mill Road, Fairhaven, MA 02719. Burial in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
