Beverly Mae (Dryer) Noiseux, age 66, of Rehoboth, died Friday, March 15, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She is survived by her significant other of the past 16 years, Paul Bettencourt. Born in Providence, RI she was the daughter of the late Charles William Dryer, Sr. and Mary (Gomes) Dryer.
A graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University, Beverly’s life was dedicated to enhancing the lives of others. She spent almost 40 years as a social worker, specializing in geriatric care, and was the Director of Social Services at the Fall River Jewish Home for a significant portion of her career. She was a long-time volunteer with the Girl Scouts and was a member of the Order of the Amaranth. Beverly’s passion for life was demonstrated by her love of travel, theatre, live music, dancing, football, and animals of all types.
In addition to her long-term partner, she is survived by two daughters, Ginger Noiseux (Bill) of Franklin and Holly Moore of Taunton; three grandchildren Kiley, Morgan, and Liam; one brother, Charles William Dryer, Jr. (Jackie) of Lincoln, RI; Paul’s children, Melissa, Jessica (Tom), Mary (Tim), Paul Jr, Jason (Aimee), Jacob (Sarah), Emily and Lucy; Paul’s grandchildren, Dustin, Zack, Silvahna, Phoenix, Jada, Anastasia, Sophie, Isabelle, Jason, Jacob, Ava, Liam, and Oliver; and Paul’s great-grandchildren, Asa, Atticus, and Kairi.
Her Visitation will be held on March 29, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. A Celebration of Life service in the funeral home will take place at 11:00 AM. Guests are encouraged to wear Beverly’s favorite color (red). The burial will be private.
