Bonnie M. Davis

Born in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Bruce C. and Carrie B (Merry) Cooper. She was a graduate of Ohio State University High School Class of 1935 and Ohio State University Class of 1939 and later attended Chicago Art Institute.

She was a Corporator and Trustee of The Home of Aged People where she had served as head of the Woman’s Board and Vice President of the Home. A former member of the Junior League, a board member of the Fall River Woman’s Union, former member board of directors MSPCC and honorary member of the Fortnightly Club. Bonnie also served on the Woman’s Board of the former Union Hospital and served as chairperson of Volunteers for several years. She was a member of the Somerset United Methodist Church.

Surviving one daughter; Bonnie D. Mendes and her husband Jay of Somerset, two grandchildren; Clarion Mendes-Umland and her husband Robert of IL, and Davis Mendes and his fiancée Kaitlyn Whalley of Somerset.
