My dear sister who I love with all my heart. I’m in shock still and question daily how this happened. I knew you were sick and I prayed you would receive the precious gift of a kidney transplant. Then a second devastating diagnosis of leukemia just weeks after your 51st birthday. When you told me I cried but never imagined that you would leave us. My heart is broken in a million pieces, and my head is in a constant fog. I haven’t accepted that you will no longer call and talk to me, or that I will never hear you laugh again. You were the strongest person I know.
I want you to know the love I have for you my beautiful middle sister. I loved you so much and I don’t think you realized just how much. I’m not sure how I will get along without you. I cherish our memories good and bad especially the last few weeks that we talked by video during your treatments. Life will never be the same for our family without you here. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. I thought I had more time to tell you I love you but time disappeared for us. I hope you knew just how much I loved you and how much you meant to me.
As for your children I will make sure they follow the path you hoped they would and be there for all of them. I love you my dear sister. I take peace in knowing that you are no longer sick and that you share heaven with those we lost before you. Life is so short and unfortunately that’s a lesson I had to learn from you when you left us two weeks ago. Until we meet again sis. Love you so very much and more then you’ll ever know! I have the most beautiful angel watching over me now. I’ve been blessed in this life to have you and now to have you watching over me!!
Love your sister,

Linda Serejczyk

To my Daughter Cherie,
Dad and I loved you so much. We would do anything for you. I can’t believe I won’t see you, talk to you or tell you how much I love you ever again. Dad and I are heart broken. I know you were so sick and fought so hard but we hoped you would get better. When we would talk you would always make me laugh. You worried about me being sick and I worried about you. I will love you forever. You were born on my birthday and that was so special to me. Rest in peace Cherie and know that you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. A piece of my heart is missing but I will find you one day.
Love you always,
Mom and Dad
