Christopher "Chris" C. Rego Sr.

Christopher C. “Chris” Rego, Sr., age 70, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Miriam Hospital. He was the loving husband of Carol Ann (Vianna) Rego to whom he was married 50 years.

Born in Fall River, MA a son of the late Manuel and Mary (Correia) Rego he was a longtime resident of Swansea.

A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical School he served in the National Guard for 13 years. A skilled woodworker by trade he worked for various contractors in the industry for 25 years before retiring in 2014. He enjoyed refurbishing his home, making furniture and was a member of the East Warren Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Christopher C. Rego, Jr. and his wife Denise of Swansea; five grandchildren, James, Noah, Jocelyn and Marisa Ann Rego and Kimberly Falcon; one great-grandson, Aaron Falcon; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joyce Arruda.

His visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea from 4:00 – 7:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
