

Debra J. (Banville) Ferraro, “Debbie,” age 53, of Swansea, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Thomas A. Ferraro to whom she has been married for the past 27 years.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Cabral) Banville, she was a longtime resident of Swansea.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, class of 1981, she also attended Fischer College. Debra worked as a teachers-aide at Citizens for Citizens Head Start Program for over 25 years.
An avid collector of all types of bears and dogs, she enjoyed antiquing and going to yard sales. She loved all animals and enjoyed traveling to Newport, the Cape and New Hampshire.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Patrick Harrington of Bourne, Shawn Harrington, Erin Ferraro both of Fall River, two sisters: Donna Morgan and her husband Dennis of Swansea, Dayle Haworth of Somerset, two grandchildren; Alexander Shvayko, Aviana Harrington, mother-in-law: Mary Ann Ferraro of PA and several nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 3:00 to 6:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd. Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Burial private.
