

Born in Brockton, MA, Eileen was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Doyle) O’Heir. She was a graduate of Brockton High School.
Eileen was an accomplished swimmer, was involved in many charitable endeavors, and was a long-standing board member and past president of the Touisset Point Community Club.
A devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother, Eileen was happiest when surrounded by her boisterous family at her home in Touisset Point. The Keating family extends their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care given to Eileen by the Cedar Winds Unit of Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence, RI.
Surviving besides her husband Brian, are a daughter, Virginia of Swansea, MA, and five sons and daughters- in- law, Philip and Nicole of Manchester by the Sea, MA, J. Daniel and Barbara of Rehoboth, MA, Sean and Mary Beth of Naples, FL, Christopher and Sharon of Tiverton, RI, and Andrew and Patrice of Bristol RI, eighteen grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Flaherty of Roslindale, and Sheila Coelho and her husband Ron of Middleboro, Ma, her brother-in-law Geoffrey Keating and his wife Jean of Towson, MD and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, along with many beloved family members, her daughter Jane Keating and her brother Thomas O’Heir.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 9:00 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd. Swansea followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Gardners Neck Rd. Swansea. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial private.
