Ellen J. Silveria

Born in Fall River to the late Manuel and Maria (Pacheco) Couto, Ellen graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School. For many years, she worked with international students at the Naval War College in Newport as an audiovisual specialist.

Ellen loved music, chocolate (especially Lindt), tennis, the film, “The Sound of Music,” enjoyed traveling, and was very interested in learning about other cultures.

She is survived by two children, Lisa Silveria and her partner, Greg Cantwell of Melrose, and Stephen Silveria of Northumberland, PA, two grandchildren, Benjamin Silveria and Sophia Cantwell, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ellen’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
