Eugene H. Audette

Born in Fall River, the son of the late George H. (Henry) and Lillian (Botelho) Audette, he was a Graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School. Mr. Audette was a United States Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam War, serving in Arizona and Turkey, and had previously lived in Elkin, NC, Ansonia, CT, Prescott Valley, AZ, and Tucson, AZ.

Gene was employed as a Recruiter for the Air Force and an Electrician. He is also a member of the National Softball Hall of Fame, as an Umpire.

He is survived by his four daughters, Angela, Andrea, Anessa and Analea Audette all of Berlin, MD; two brothers Thomas Audette and his wife Linda of Warren, RI and Steven Audette of Shelton, WA; a sister Marian McDermott and her husband Jim of Swansea and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. His family will greet friends from 10 to 11AM in the funeral home prior to his service on Monday. Memorial Contributions in his honor may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163. Burial will be private.
