Frances Bunny DiCorpo Jensen

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Leo and Stella (Mish) DiCorpo, she was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School of 1959 and she received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Bristol Community College.

Mrs. Jensen was as a Nurse for several years and most recently was employed as an office manager. She enjoyed shopping, art, collecting dolls, reading and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children Jennifer L. Carreiro and her husband Stephen of Seekonk, Dennis L. Jensen II and his wife Pilar of Somerset, and Holly L. Jensen of Providence, RI; six granddaughters Madison and Jordan Carreiro, Bianca, Sophia, Victoria and Olivia Jensen; two sisters Angela Caron and Rosalind Chouinard both of Somerset and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 9am from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea followed by her funeral mass at 10am at St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 GAR Highway, Swansea. Visiting hours Sunday from 5-8pm. Flowers welcome or memorial contributions in her honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Ste. 400, Waltham, MA 02451. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
