

He was the devoted husband of the late Eleanor (Vandenburgh) Jammen.
Born in Fall River, Hatem was the son of the late Abdo and Manira (Assad) Jammen. He graduated from the Fall River Public Schools before continuing his education at New England Tech.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Hatem honorably served his country during World War II. Following his military service, he dedicated 26 years to the Newport Navy Base, where he worked as an Electronic Technician until his retirement in 1980.
Hatem was a member of VFW Post 8500 in Somerset and enjoyed a life rich with simple pleasures and meaningful connections. An avid traveler, he cherished exploring new places, tending to his garden, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Josephine Ethier and Florence Lomas, both of Somerset, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Hatem was predeceased by his siblings, George Jammen, Moran Jammen, Edward Jammen, Joseph Jammen, Mae Jammen, and Madeline Landry.
Visitation will held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in St. Anthony of the Desert Maronite Catholic Church, N Eastern Ave, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
