Born in Newport, RI, a son of the late James and Gertrude C. (Bingham) Donaldson, he lived in RI most of his life, moving to Beverly eleven years ago.
He worked as an Accountant for over 50 years.
Mr. Donaldson enjoyed spending time with his family and was always ready to lend a hand.
Also survived by daughter: Joanne Ersing of Beverly, sons: Douglas Donaldson of Waterford, CT and William Donaldson of Chepachett, RI, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. He was brother of the late Ruth E. Harrison.
His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 12:30 PM in Bethany Gospel Chapel, 62 Lindsey Lane, Swansea, MA . Arrangements in the care of WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE, Swansea. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Berea, 68 Berea Road, Hebron, NH 03241.
