Marjorie DeStout

April 10, 2019

My name is Sister Marjorie DeStout, a Sister of Mercy. None of you know me, but Joe and I were classmates at Immaculate Conception, we graduated together. Joe was a good friend of our family, but we lost contact after I came to Honduras as a missionary in 1966.

I am so sorry to hear of Jo-Jo's (as we all knew him) passing, and I offer you my sincere condolences. I will have a Mass offered him - although I feel sure he is already rejoicing in the presence of our Lord. I also pray for comfort for all of you - his family.

I have so many happy memories of Jo-Jo... he was a great kid and a great friend. I felt very happy as I read his obituary and watched the video, to see that he had such a fulfilling life and wonderful family.
