Joseph Fazzina

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Fredrick and Catherine (Costa) Fazzina, he lived in Swansea for the past 30 years. Mr. Fazzina was a route salesman for Frito Lay for over 30 years. Prior to that he was Department Manager for the former Arlan’s Department Store in Fall River.

A gourmet chef, he loved to cook for and entertain his family and friends, enjoyed gardening and landscaping.

Also surviving: two daughters: Susan L. Maucione and her husband Michael of Swansea, Loree B. Dubois and her husband Duane of Rehoboth, two grandsons: Benjamin and Nicholas Dubois, two sisters: Carmella Mello of Fall River and Delores Lynch of Somerset and brother of the late Fredrick, Alexander and Robert Fazzina. He also leaves his beloved dog: “Cookie”.

His funeral will be held Monday September 17, 2012 at 10AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea with a funeral mass at 11AM in St Dominic’s Church, 1277 GAR Highway, Swansea. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to Southcoast VNA Hospice, 200 Mill Rd., Suite 120, Fairhaven, MA 02719. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
