My deepest sympathy to the Mello family. I always looked forward to meeting with Joe and working on a project with him at Brayton Point Station. His positive attitude and terrific sense of humor made him a great person to be around. Rest in peace Joe.

Our sincere condolences to the Mello family for the loss of one the kindest and nicest men we have had the experience of meeting. As neighbors, Joe would walk by with his grandchildren, so much always in the moment. We will always remember his very kind manner.

Joe was my very first friend back in the mid 50's on Brayton Ave. I have such great memories of playing basketball on Lane St. & Maplewood Park. We both graduated from Durfee & worked for New England Electric. He was a great friend And I cherished those days together. I will miss him.
