Lorraine E. (McKenna) Stone Grabert, age 88, a longtime resident of Swansea, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of Bernard “Bernie” Grabert to whom she had been married for the past 16 years and also the wife of the late Charles L. Stone.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children; Paula Gardella, Cheryl Benjamin and Stephen Stone all of Swansea, MA, Charles Stone of Cranston, RI and Ronald Stone of Somerset, MA. As well as a step-son; Stephen Grabert and step-daughter; Patty Weisenhahn. She also has seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. She was very proud of her family and took great pleasure in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Carroll P. McKenna of Texas.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9:00am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Kindly omit flowers. Burial private. Arrangements in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute.
