Maria Leonor (Matos) Oliveira, age 78, of Swansea, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Roberto C. Oliveira to whom she had been married to for the past 58 years.
Born in Cacia, Aveiro, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Jose Maria Caetano de Matos and Maria Amelia (Rodrigues) de Matos.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Caroline and her husband Francisco, Anna and her husband Richard, four brothers; Francisco, Carlos, Jose, and Luis, seven sisters; Teresa, Fatima, Carolina, Conceicao, Amelia, Grace, and Ana, five grandchildren; John, Cristina, Michael, David, and Gabriela, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Octavio.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 8:30AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 GAR Highway, Swansea.
