Born In Leominster, a daughter of the late Chester and Christine (Mulany) Johnson, she spent her youth in Leominster. She lived in Sterling, Massachusetts and then in Swansea from 1963 to 1980 before moving to Somerset.
She was a graduate of Leominster High School, class of 1939. In addition to being a homemaker, she was also a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, traveling, camping, and antiquing.
She is survived by one son; Atty. Gary W. Holmes and his wife Patricia of Kittery, ME, one daughter; Sandra J. Lauzon of Saunderstown, RI, three grandchildren; Bennett W. and Alexander W. Holmes and Nicole M. Lauzon, and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Raymond Johnson.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 2:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST 189 Gardner’s Neck Rd. Swansea. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00PM.
