She was born in Italy, the daughter of the late Michael and Constance (Troccoli) Catalano and was employed by the City of New York as a Dietician. She was a former member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy.
She is survived by her daughter Joann Hill and her husband William of Tiverton, RI; two grandchildren April Hill Sousa and William Hill Jr. and his wife Meagan; two great grandchildren Katie Elizabeth Sousa and Mason William Hill; a sister Margie Catalano and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was the mother of the late John, Joann and Robert Lanzaro and sister of the late Thomas, Daniel, Tony and Natalie Catalano.
Her funeral service and burial are private and under the direction f the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, MA. Contributions in her honor may be made to Crestwood Nursing Home 558 Child St., Warren, RI 02885.
