

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Michael J. and Bridget (Hayden) Donnelly, she had been a longtime resident of Swansea.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, class of 1941, she also graduated from the Thibideau Business School in 1943. She was a communicant of St. Dominic’s Church and was a member of their Women’s Guild.
Mary worked as an Audiometric Technician for the Swansea School Department for 28 years retiring in 1997. She also worked as a receptionist for the Waring Sullivan Homes of Memorial Tribute until the age of 93. An avid dancer, she and her husband loved to ballroom and country line dance.
She is survived by four daughters; Cheryl Riendeau and her husband Robert of Mt. Vernon, NH, Betty Costa and her husband Joseph of Swansea, Karen Travers and her husband Alfred of Seekonk, and Lynne Chomka and her husband Steven of Swansea, sister-in-law; Betty Standring and her husband Ed of NH, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Agnes Maki, Katherine Kelly, Helen Donnelly, and Margaret Murphy.
