Rest in peace Melissa and thank you for being such a great friend and confidant for so many years. You were caring, loyal, extremely intelligent and always a pleasure to be around. I will miss you immensely.
Zach and Becca, your mom loved you both more than you can ever imagine. Her life revolved around you and you brought her so much joy. She was very proud of you as she should be. As adults you are wonderful examples of her love and guidance, you both showed this in the way you cared for your mom during her illness. Stay strong and take care of each other now.

Melissa was a very dear friend of mine. We shared our highs and lows and we laughed and cried together. She was an amazingly strong lady who never gave up. She was always loyal to her friends. We met through work 25 years ago and became good friends. When the Police Dept moved to their new building I missed her then because we were originally had our buildings side by side in the same parking lot. We could walk over to see other everyday and talk about our days. I thought I missed her alot then but nothing compares to how much I miss her now. Forever in my heart. Love you my friend.

Miss Melissa you fought long and hard. I know everything you did was for your children and you did a beautiful job raising them on your own . You will always be in my heart

Becca has been my best friend since 5th grade and her mom was like my 2nd mother. She used to call me “Hayli” all the time because I had a crush on this boy and she mashed our names together. She called me this religiously for years. 😂😂 I love you Mama Reis, rest easy❤️❤️
