

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Arthur and Mabel (Lizzotte) McGee, he had been a resident of Swansea for over 50 years.
Mr. McGee was a Truck Driver for Hemmingway Trucking Company for 36 years before retiring in 1982. He was a member of Teamster Union Local #251, Providence, RI and was an avid New England sports fan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Norman McGee Jr. and his wife Brenda of Somerset, George McGee and his wife Shirley of Rehoboth, Arthur McGee and his wife Robin of Somerset, two daughters Jeannette Powell and her husband William of Conway, AR, and Maureen Wallace and her husband Timothy of Swansea, one sister Rita Vieira of Fall River, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Paul Mc Gee and brother of the late Alexandria “Bddo” Scott, Lillian Fillion, Edna Durfee, Joseph McGee, and Yvonne Lambert.
His Funeral will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST 189 Gardner’s Neck Rd. Swansea followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in St. Dominic’s Church 1277 G.A.R. Highway, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 5-8PM.
