Oscar A. Saucier, age 92, of Swansea, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Somerset Ridge Nursing Center. He was the husband of Doris B. (Couturier) Saucier to whom he has been married for the past sixty seven years.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Marie (Berube) Saucier, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Saucier had worked as a welder for the J.L. Clemmey Company in Mansfield for many years before his retirement.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son: Donald O. Saucier of Swansea, two daughters: Anne M. Lafleur of North Carolina and Helen M. Bernard of Warren, Rhode Island, and one granddaughter Christine Saucier.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 6:30PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to his service from 4:00 to 6:30PM. Burial private.
